a very special day
Today is a very special day, ten years ago our first litter was born, Xin-Feng's A-litter. Here the first photo I took from Pandora and her puppies.

Xin-Feng's Demeter (Demi)
This never happend before ;-)
I don't like showing and most of the people who have puppies from us are not into showing either.
But one of the pups of our last litter went to a Shiba Inu breeder who often goes to shows. Ilone went with Demi (Xin-Feng's Demeter) to some local shows and did well. One time 4th of all pups and at an other show even best pup!
Last weekend was the outdoor show in Uden and Demi got BOB (Best Of Breed) over a male from the Champions class! So she has her first leg towards becoming a Dutch Champion. She is the first female to take BOB this year. We are sooo proud!

June 2008, month of the roses
There were only 3 roses in the garden, when we bought our house in Lelystad.
I LOVE roses, especially smelling roses. Sadly those 3 have no smell at all...
So we added some smelling roses in the past years, in 2006 an English rose, in 2007 a climbing rose and this month 4 more.
Besides the roses, I enjoyed the flowers of the passionflower, a purple clematis and a red clematis.

Xin-Feng's Crackers
I got sad news from France this week: Xin-Feng's Crackers, litterbrother of our Chimay, died in an accident.

Spring
Past month the garden was blooming like never before:
And I removed the shrubs at the back of the garden and we put a statue there:
It takes time, but we transformed the garden into a garden we all enjoy.
